Well the important parts is the misinformation regarding Indian/Chinese students which is partly to drown out the fact that the Russian forces murdered one of them and forced many to hide because indiscriminate shelling of cities doesn't really make it easy to escape.
Unfortunately the mess that is Indian social media will probably implode with it (it's not totally one-sided, but most of it is pro-Modi) and China doesn't really need much help in that regard because they've been manipulating Russia-positive angles on all their platforms.
I do hope that we (well the US) can pull India away from Russia at some point, not sure of the chance of success though.

The video is from 2015 or something like that, yes it was propaganda. Do not expect any politician to be truthful at this point. Morale and western support is incredibly important and there will be a lot of lies coming out from Russian, Ukrainian and even western sides in this mess.
Its to freak out the Russians / boost Ukrainian morale, they know they aren't getting NATO air support either but it still puts a bit doubt out there.
Social media is a weapon in war, on both sides.

Yes the video used was from a previous war when Russia invaded Georgia I believe, but that isn't to say they don't have one here also, we just haven't caught it on camera yet.
