Its sad but they've been fed propaganda all their lives, its only the younger generation really that looks outside what is fed to them by state tv. Plus with the punishments on those speaking out many will stay quiet.
Plenty of these tank shooting on black mercedes van, and old car with an old couple in the footage is out there but its very graphic the Daily Mail picked up the Black mercedes one.

Ukraine Reddit is a horrifying read. I was in bits earlier seeing the photos of the kids laid together (mostly sleeping) in a shelter underground. Absolutely terrible and sobering situation that is happening and will very likely get much worse.

I'm horrified by the suffering imposed on the Ukrainian people by this barbaric monster. I would however like to point out how the Russian people themselves are being dragged down into a perpetual state of slavery by Putin as well. Then there's the population of Belarus being held hostage at the same time for voting in a manner which wasn't in line with the Kremlin's objectives. Clearly the Russian peoples' suffering is not yet as that of the Ukrainians but it shows Putin sees no value in the lives, freedoms or beliefs of other human beings.

They are scared of the secret police or being targetted by them or being setup by one in this filming. Seriously videos like this are no "real" help, you will get the people scared not saying anything and moving on and then the other scared ones kissing the rear of their leader in fear they will harm them or their families and then right at the end a granny that clearly doesn't give a damn. Don't judge the people in a country held by a dictator. They are just wanting to get on with their lives and of course some know the truth some are watching state run TV and nothing else and have no idea too. Go look in a country run like that, the outside world either doesn't exist to the normal people or they are the enemy and don't trust them.
Wait till this is all over and when he is removed and his people, problem in the country is not just Putin, there is many of his people that will need to be removed too.
