Bless, how you said that with a straight face is hilarious.

Your childish crying of "Leave Britney Boris alone" everytime theres criticism of Bozo doesn't really hold up when you have previously openly said you think politicians that you dont like deserve the abuse and hate they get.

You're just a hypocrite with no self awareness and the intellectual depth of a puddle who exhibits ideological blindness with everything you post.
Ad hominem

You know for definite one of the reactors were the target?

The training building thar caught fire was a long way from the reactors.

From all the reports, all the fighting was a long way from the reactors.

There's footage and images available showing damage to walkways and gantries that link the reactors. And it ain't small arms damage...

No i am just a realist, way too many people on here just do not look at the blinking obvious right in frint of their faces.

Optimists are always looking upwards, so often loose their footing and fall.

Pessimists are always looking down to check their footing, so bang their heads and fall.

Realists look ahead and miss all the obstacles and do not fall.

Nah, all your doing is trumpeting your opinion, which has been shown to be wrong throughout the thread.

Have never hyped up the Russians once.

Just never taken them for the idiots everyone else seems to think they are.

I’ve taken the Putin regime for the disgustingly amoral kleptocrat thugs they are, and thought the Russian military was made up mainly of conscripts with corrupt commanders, mixed in with some professional forces, which I’m right about. I also thought they’dve won by now. Happy to admit I was wrong on that one. You seem to think they some triple hard stormtrooper types.

Putin would have to use a sub, and given his armed forces can't seemingly maintain a truck or 40 year old tank I'm betting it wouldn't make to the other side of the world undetected.

What's to stop Finland and Sweden joining NATO quickly?
Finland president is already in US to discuss it

you didn't notice -
bbc dialogue changed from saying training building, and where is that geographically versus reactor ?, to a shelling/missiles dialogue, with no location, on later reports,
not that it isn't irresponsible.

Yes and has anyone else noticed that the reactor buildings at this plant are designed to have aircraft deliberately crash into them and survive, and are protected against explosions and rockets.

Russians/Ukranians learnt a lot after Chernobyl.

The lack of protective structure at Chernobyl, was one of the main reasons for such a catastrophe.

Newer plants, have protective structures now, so internal explosions like Chernobyl, will not release the radioactivity.

So some small shelling of buildings hundreds of feet away will not effect them.

You were there and saw it first hand, and not through biased reports online?

Ok right i will take your word for it thanks.

Note any western or Ukranian reporting of the incident WILL make out the Russians to be indiscriminately attacking.

ONLY someone actually there will know the real truth.

And no i do not know the truth, just assuming that as normal human beings, who by all accounts don't want to be there shooting their neighbours, Russian soldiers shooting anything towards a nuclear reactor WILL NOT deliberately want to damage or destroy it, and potentially kill themselves and millions of their countrymen and women.
You're like the epitome of 'if a tree falls in the woods.......':cry:

There is a literal video of gantry ways connecting reactors showing signs of mortar damage

Zaporizhzhia plant ;

unlike Chernobyl, the reactors themselves have a concrete bioshield and being a PWR type have a steel core (theres no graphite), so if the power goes the entire system shuts down. As Entai said, they literally can have a plane fly into them.... not so sure about a 2000lb bomb though ;)

There have been reports that Ukrainians have taken it back

Makes Australia's $50 million supply of mostly lethal aid to Ukraine all the more dangerous to them. I think Canada supplied some too.

Western countries that have similar values to NATO are being drawn in to give support but don't have any protection. It could come back to bite them.

If Putin decided to nuke Australia for interfering, then NATO would just say can't do anything because it would start WW3.

Australia is in a defensive pact with the US, NZ and a number of south east asian countries not to mention the UK. China for one would love to get its greedy mits on all that natural resource.

And it shows this to be incorrect.

I have not seen the videos you have.

So ok i was wrong on that bit, the map of the plant on the BBC showing locations of fighting, and reactors was all i was going by.

Still doesnt alter the fact a direct hit by motar or shell will hardly damage let alone destroy a reactor building.
