It was just a dumb move and we should be championing embassies as a safe haven for staff and citizens alike no matter the circumstances.

Na, after seeing that video of the 2 OAPs turned into swiss cheese, the russian embassies can get turned to dust for all I care.

After the success of the past couple of weeks for Ukraine, keeping Russia on the same failed game plan for as long as possible would be good. Let them go for broke.

Zelenskyy has so far appeared transparent in communication to the point of saying too much, I have thought. That may be his lack of experience in politics, or could be a bluff. Either way ambiguity benefits Ukraine.

He is being coached by the best of the best from the UK and USA. I imagine it is all perfectly constructed; with each and every 'tell' he gives away, purposely planned. I may be optimistic but I see a lot of nuance in his videos - the one where he starts on phone footage and then it cuts to him sitting at this desk; that's a lot of effort to 'prove a point'. I half expect the theatre is for his people, but also to misdirect the Russians.

Tricky times but WW3 gets nobody anywhere, Russia will be finished, if it goes nuclear the world ends for the human race as we know it, so nobody wins.

In a rational world yes but Putin doesn't appear to be entirely rational and thats the fear.

Biden's speech yesterday was saying he sympathised the great american public with the rise of 70 cents on fuel... thats per gallon not litre like we'll soon be paying
