I was wondering earlier if one of the reasons the US was in such a hurry to get out of Afghanistan was due to seeing this situation with Ukraine becoming more inevitable and wanting to reduce exposure of US troops to potential Russian encouraged/sponsored proxy attacks.

If there are casualties and any link to Iran proven I think things will move very fast - the US can afford to be splitting its focus with potential considerations with regard to China, etc.

I was on corticosteroids not long ago, only for 2 weeks but the instructions said something about stop taking them immediately and consult a doctor if you get round face.
only high doses are supposed to lead to mood changes as far as I read.

The means health link suggests he could be on anabolic steroids too which are known to cause roid rage, but his physique doesn't strike me of someone who does steroids for muscle gains.

all seems like jumping to conclusions and nonsense without any factual basis., he's supposed to be so scared of covid that he won't get the jab in case it's poison, gets his food tested in case it's poisoned etc but he's supposed to be taking steroids and not worried they might poison him?

wouldn't the more logical explanation for his puffy face be alcoholism rather than weird conspiracy theories

I remember during the first few days as they had cameras at the border crossing, it seemed to be all men stood alone with signs offering places to stay.

made me question how safe the women would feel, everyone knew in advance the men weren't allowed to leave and it would only be women and children crossing the border.

in their situation I wouldn't be trusting anyone that's not clearly part of a family

The steroids are rumoured to be part of his cancer treatment, rather than Putin trying to maximise his gym gainz. US military have reported this previously as well apparently.
 
China is taking notes.

1 - Invading a country is not easy, try do that to a large island across a body of water
2 - The rest of the world will shut you off immediately
3 - The US has promised to intervene directly

It could be a big Cyberattack on US or Taiwan, they have people analysing the response from world leaders, body language, the language they use, etc. It won't be some kind of WW3 escalation they will just be testing the response.

China has been flying into Taiwan's airspace for a while now. They've been expanding in the South China Sea by building islands for years. What did Trump do about that? And Russia was fighting a proxy war in Ukraine all the way through Trump's presidency. What did he do to stop Russia? As for why didn't Russia attack back then, maybe they weren't ready, we've also just had over 2 years of a pandemic, hardly the best time to be going to war. They were also committed in Syria. What ever the reason why Putin chose now, he badly miscalculated both the Ukrainian resistance and the response from the west in terms of a united diplomatic front, sanctions, military support and companies pulling the plug on Russia.

I honestly don't understand how people can put their faith in that idiot. He is thick as ****, a narcissistic sociopath who got played by every head of state he went up against. Biden might be an old man who should be putting his feet up in retirement and he might not be as sharp as he used to be but as an intellect he blows Trump out of the water. Trump own advisors said he was thick as ****, are they all lying? Barr just this weekend said he had no mental control. His ego is that fragile he created the Big Lie because he couldn't handle losing an election. Is that someone you want controlling the worlds most powerful military in a situation that could end up as WW3? Its like you want us all to die :rolleyes:

We need to stop applying Western mindsets to those in the East, our capitalist & globalist ideals may be motivators for us, but for Communist and former states they will have an entirely different mindset for what makes them tick and being isolated from those whose ideals like freedom & democracy are detested isn't always a terrible thing to them
