Surprises me, in a grim, morbid way, why Russia keeps sending in more troops and so many are being killed.
That they are not using more powerful weapons (none nuclear) instead

It’s so funny they talk about these hotels and illiegals as if they know anything.

Ive worked for the home office at one of these hotels these guys like to moan about.

Every single person man woman AND CHILD, is documented and here seeking asylum. They are there and being housed by the home office. If they were illegal they would not be there as they would not be documented. Don’t get me wrong there are mistakes made though.

The other thing wrong is that there are women and children. We had entire units devoted to housing them safely and separately.

The only problems we get are from daily BNP van visits with the usual idiots.
The refugees themselves are generally no trouble at all.

Don't be coming in here with facts that go against the xenophobic rhetoric. You're post will be completely ignored by those posters.

*Experts at a Russian state channel are now discussing how to best invade north-eastern Poland, all 3 Baltic states and the Swedish island of Gotland, which is located at a strategic place in the Baltic Sea.

Something is seriously wrong with Russia

That was awhile ago now - but possibly worth paying attention to in a general awareness kind of way.

Seems the like the mood of the defenders is changing from optimism to despair

That is a volunteer group, mostly foreign fighters. It doesn't really reflect the wider Ukrainian armed forces situation.

I think China is turning against them.

I think China was surprised by how willing companies etc were to jump on the sactioning bandwagon

Reputational damage is important to avoid in a free society. It seriously hits your bottom line.

Shame no friendly countries have "volunteers" like Russia used in Crimea and Donbas

They are scared of provoking Russia, even though Russia has zero fear of provoking the West

It's quite a strange dynamic really, the stronger power is absolutely terrified of the weaker

They have been using the worst of their conventional weapons though as well throwing more meat in the grinder, next move for them is either chemical (already seen potential Phosphorus) and tactical nukes if they want to raise the bar on deadly weaponry

He does better propaganda for Putin than RT. What is it with this love in for authoritarian regimes with parts of the right?

Left and right proclivities aside many will be drawn to a strong and authoritative male figure like Putin and his much vaunted and probably contrived aura because they are unfortunate enough to be from a single mother home or a broken home, where the lack of a father figure leaves them wanting of someone to, rightly or wrongly, look up to.

The same as the women folk of weak and submissive males often seek the otherwise inappropriate company of more "alpha" males, (colloquially known as fancying a bit of rough).

Given the mollycoddling and lack of physical disciplining the young generally seem to receive these days, it must be a breath of fresh air to see someone doing what they say they'll do, to hell with the consequences, and a good beating given to those that oppose them. To some this may well be rather arousing to their presumably previously dormant maleness. In a James Bond film the hero nor the villain are ever some nancy boy with a penchant for safe spaces. Young people need a strong leader, parentally, scholarly and socially and this need and goal can ensue long after their pre teen and teenage years.

Do you think I'd make a good social worker? ;)

Have you read the document?
That would be a no.

I would then come back and edit your silly post once you have read it.
Stating that headlines for fact is just stupid.

Why am I not surprised to see deuse being a Putin fanboy  he really is so transparent. He'd welcome a Putin with open arms if he carried out Putin like policies when it comes to immigration and locking up lefties.

Please give me the link to that thread and post.

It doesn't matter who is stronger or weaker, if the weaker still has the potential to take everything away from you - you don't try and look for escalation. It's a balancing act of putting them off doing anything like this again, and pushing them over the edge. Them losing doesn't mean we win... There is still scope for everyone losing.

If NATO does not act pre-emptively, it will be too late not just for Ukraine, but for others.

The link in my post may have been fake (?), or by the looks of it just old. It seems that the video was recorded a few months back.

Anyway it was disturbing.

They can't though.

They have no remit too, no legality too, no legitimacy too.

NATO have been looking into changing their remit, to allow them to preemptively act, and even to act in a preventative way, but as yet nothing has been agreed or put into place to allow them legally to act in that way.

They are currently purely a defensive organisation, who can only retaliate once they have been directly attacked.

Behave. He was an apologist for Putin in the lead up to the war and was broadcast on Russian state media, do you think they did that because he wasn't pro Russia? The clips are widely available and he is spouting Putin propaganda. Of course once Putin actually invaded Tucker attempted to rewrite history.
