No one is surprised you're demanding the receipts for a subject that's been a tangible problem for years.
So tangible you can't post any evidence.

Risible stuff.

Post anything to prove how it's had a tangible impact on your life (other than the very real yet abstract fear you've been been made to cower in, by those who've benefited from pulling your levers in that way).

Tangible! You may need another visit to the dictionary.

and this was back in 2019 when the EU was voting to strengthen the anti propaganda unit.

It's important to hear the other side as well, otherwise you get people who don't know what the heck is going on or why Russia is invading. I tell them to ask the Russians why.

Any sensibly person would vote against a law that restricted information. If anything we need laws to prevent our own media from mixing opinions with facts, telling people what to think and omitting important parts to give a skewed perception of what happened - that's a much bigger problem than "Russian propaganda" that no one in the West is even remotely influenced by.

What makes you think no one in the West is influenced by it? Twitter alone has closed Russian disinformation accounts with hundreds of 1000s of followers, followers who were outraged as they believed the accounts to be Americans. There is a reason they spend so much time and money on social media disinformation and troll accounts and its because it works. They've had huge successes carefully sowing discord in western populations, successes the USSR could have only dreamed of.

Indeed, they have a massive propaganda machine, as does China and they have both been fueling this left/right divide in the West.

What about this one?
Not sure whether this has been posted, but it should have been... though I'm finding it hard to chuckle at it now the way I did a couple of days ago. The unfolding misery is getting to me.

If China supplies Russia with offensive weapons then that would open up Western nations to supply Ukraine with offensive weapons.

As expected, China will use it to their advantage. China will probably give them weapons given the west has been arming Ukraine. The question is, if that extends to Jets and Tanks - if so that opens the flood gates for the EU/US. However I suspect that China will use it to try to reverse the legal agreement that the US has to support the Taiwanese as a bargaining chip. Although the US will simply say - Ukraine and Taiwan aren't linked.

Given the EU states haven't really been focused on offensive, the supplying of tanks etc would essentially be out of their limited stocks. Except of course the mothballed tanks etc.
