photoshop 2021/22

Hi mate,
What sort of photoshop work do you do? Does it involve a lot of heavy rendering or is just just run of the mill/typical stuff.
By 'the latest photoshop' I presume you mean Adobe's subscription service. 'Adobe Creative Cloud' ?
When you say
I'm surprised yours doesn't meet spec, it must be OLD. I suspect its a lack of Directx12 support.
What card do you have now?
What, and how many monitors are you running?
and out of interest What CPU and RAM you have.
At a minimum (according to what I could find on google) Adobe claim it requires a GPU with DirectX 12 support and 2 GB of memory.
Though I disagree and would strongly recommend at least 6GB of GPU RAM
So something like a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 or better.
Ideally if I were you I'd get a GPU with 8GB RAM which should see you right for quite a few more years.
As to which one specifically? Whatever you can get for a good price

Yes that info would certainly he handy. I note that the GPU requirements have changed - in October last year - so unless you haven't used photoshop in the interim this shouldn't be a new error.
With specs listed as per @arc@css post. Quite possibly your card lacks DirectX 12 support.
