The Russians hold the record for the largest bomb ever tested in the Czar bomba and that was a nerfed version of its true capability, I guess it's plausible that both the US & Russia have stronger bombs than this but they're untested if they do

Not sure why they're not already sanctioned given the previous sanctions have done nothing to stop the invasion and those sanctions were supposedly already "nuclear options"

The Tsar bomba was a show of strength during the Cold War. Even the Russian scientists said it was never really intended for actual use other than testing as it was impractical, super expensive and overkill. If Putin drops any big nukes they will be the Topols. Mega destructive but still not as powerful as the US’ B-83 at over a megaton. Rather scarily, they both pale in comparison to Chinas 5 megaton Dong Fengs.

They may have to in order to issue paperwork (airworthiness, insurance) which can’t be issued even in someones fantasy to nicked planes that can’t get spares or support!
