I'm about to be putting together all the parts for my new pc, and am wondering if it might be prudent to replace the fan and possibly heatsink to get something maybe a little quieter and possibly a little more efficient.
I've not found much to read about so it it just something you all just put up with or have I just not found the right info yet.
Are there many products available for this, are CPU and GPU coolers much the same thing?
For what it is worth I'm using a SFF case so cooling is limited so I'm interested in finding out anything that may help!
Any wisdom much appreciated.

Since it's only a 1050 I'd probably just leave it alone and let it do it's thing - don't think it's worth the trouble at all. Just monitor temps once your computer is up and running : )

is it the Mini ? If so you will struggle to get anything better in a SFF.

My reason for asking is that in my current pc the zotec fan is the loudest thing - other fans are all Noctua 120mm and a 200mm, all running very slowly.
Given my new case is a lot smaller, cooling is going to be harder, and I was hoping that I might find a quieter fan.

Yes, it is the mini one, about 150mm approx long. I got it a few years ago as it was cheap - seems I got a good thing without knowing!

What's the rest of the new spec? Any chance of using an iGPU built into the CPU?
This is it, with my 1050ti gpu and a 6tb storage drive - case is out of stock now, but this one

I've also got a slim 120mm Noctua fan I'll try to fit inside somewhere if it makes sense. Until I see it all I don't really know how it'll fit together.
