Is it me, or were they not squatting, but trespassing (for the purpose of demonstration.)

It's rather odd considering Mariupol is pretty much entirely Russian-speaking (90%+), Putin must have an odd definition of who he's 'protecting' them from.

Bit of a hissy fit after being dictated to. Odd they can't take what they preach.

In short NL will have issues and DE will have issues but the lack of parts and machinery will cause problems for Putin - hence he's probably looking to boost the trade with China.

They will simply go through the patients and simply separate the Ukranians and prevent them from being treated. Armies of yester-year simply used to stop the enemy solders from being treated and threatening/shooting the staff that didn't focus the their troops only.

If by "something going on" you mean increasingly beligerent rantings you're right, though it is possibly the russian equivalent of Fox News thats calling for reparations for sanctions the return of Alaska and public hanging of Ukranian people who resist it was FN that arguably led to the rise of Trump and all the insanity that prevailed after that so... lord help us all if the rest of the population becomes as as increasingly unhinged and detached from reality as their president is its not looking good for the future. If theres any slight sliver of good news to be had from recent events is that the russian military isn't really up to much in terms of logistics and firepower and would be no match for NATO at least in the short term. What they do have is almost limitless manpower in reserve due to the sheer size of the population and the fact that they're essentially expendable (and of course, the threat of nukes)

The more we see and the more we read of the corruption of this government and our state the more I realise that the organisation that publishes which countries are corrupt is either inept or as on the take as the the big credit rating agencies were in 2007 in regards to financial institutions and their exposure to subprime mortgages. That half the MET appears at a break in at a Russian billionaire's when for us plebs you can wait for days for a single officer to turn up and tell you they have no leads shows it really is an us and them society :rolleyes:

Its not like this corruption wasn't known, its just the right wing press here played it down and our idiot PM is somehow coated in teflon. With what is happening in Ukraine/Russia and his personal intervention in getting the son of high ranking intelligence officer turned oligarch a peerage against our intelligence agencies advice I wonder not only how he's still PM built how he isn't under serious investigation. This country is become a joke it really has.

I've always been a staunch supporter of reducing the global population by a very large percentage, so why not? The current situation is embarrassing to us in the west, but predictable given all that's gone before in the realms of rampant consumerism, selling the family silver, a lack of any real nationalism and all embracing liberalism. Push some buttons...

We've walked open eyed into this, sold out, apologised to anyone who'll listen to the green or student voice, and become impotent. The Russkies know it, the Chinese know it, and we ourselves actually know it, but it's probably too late for the few statesmen left to do anything about it. Global reset is likely imminent..
