Upgrade advice needed please

Hi All,

It's been around 5 years since I last upgraded my PC and I'm looking for advice for my next one.

My current specs are:

Intel i7 6700K @4.00 GHz on an ROG Asus Hero VIII mobo
32GB of DDR4 memory @ 1600 Mhz Corsair CMK32GX4M2D3200C16 (2 x 16GB sticks)
Corsair CPU H100 watercooler
Nvidia RTX2070 8GB GPU
Coolermaster H500 Mid Tower case
500GB Samsung SSD

I'd prefer my next upgrade to be able to use my memory and GPU that I have can save some money. I'd also prefer to stick to Intel CPUs. Can anyone recommend my next upgrade please?

If you would provide a budget it would help to narrow down recommendations

I'd go for the 12700k + msi pro Z690-A DDR4 which should be just over £500 for both.

You will also need to get corsair to send you the LGA1700 fixings to reuse your cooler.

No budget really. I don't need the fastest thing on the planet, enough to run a small country but something that can run MS FS, Star Citizen well would be good.
