Can’t believe you’re still having issues… like, it should just work !
I had a similar issue with destiny 2 and a router (think it was a Technicolor) had to change it out in the end. Went with a fritzbox !
It may or may not be the cause… but I can definitely say, the fritzbox has been amazing, as a router.I should bin this BT router piece of crap i guess….

edit. Even got the range extender which was a one button setup.
It isn’t a glitch with BT parental controls maybe?
Ah, so it can’t be that then. Odd one, almost seems like that’s the issue with it working via your phone but not the router. Some sort of double nat issue maybe then. Think that was a problem with my lad’s Xbox some time ago, but I can’t recall how we sorted it!No, there is no parental control on it.
Not too sure. Tbh. It may not even be the router that Is the issue. What is the "in" socket for it?
My broadband comes into the house via copper cable i think, old style phone RJ11 and goes into a BT modem which has a network RJ45 out.
I had the same home hub as you. Probably 8 years or so. 2 weeks ago it started playing up so I phoned BT and they sent me the latest hub FOC. Not saying that’s what it is but it is worth a shot. The new hubs connect direct no need for the white box anymore. No, there is no parental control on it.

Dbrands have rounded corners, expensive though as you would have to import them. There were some I found a while back that looked really smart, they had rounded edges where the lights are so looked compact.
Pictures will help.
Same as me then old bloody hub! Glad you got it sorted. Really odd that I let you do some things but not others.Update -
Whilst I can’t connect my wired stuff up yet due to logistics of cables but I just realised I could with wifi so I just use the new BT hub and connected PS5 to it and GTA5 online now works!
It seems it’s old modem that’s bricked, or bricked specifically blocking PS5 online gaming and that and nothing else. It’s so bizarre.
