If they decide to actually act like parents and not like best friends.

I really do think it depends on the parents and the kids. I have friends who have incredible relationships with their kids, a relationship I wish I'd had with my parents and the kids are fantastic young adults. Obviously there is more to it than just if the parents are great with the kids.

Just watched that Kyle has a "team" under him and they have come up with an organisation whereby people can send in funds. The funds will then go towards holding media outlets accountable for the "Lies" they spread. He did an interview on Tucker Carlson (of course) and visibly didn't seem like he himself knew what the whole thing is about - I imagine he's the puppet in this sadly.

It's the same kind of grift trump ran after losing the election where people send in millions of dollars to stop the steal and help fight make America great again (again)..

What a sad turn of events

And yes, I can't sleep because noises outside and as such have dived into the depths of youtube :p

IF he's got pending legal cases then I doubt he's going to comment too much on them.

It doesn't seem to be, the media objectively did tell lies about Kyle, lots of the reporting was utterly flawed and probably did do a lot of damage to him. IT's the US and he probably does stand to get some large payouts from various organisations if he pursues this. Just look at some of the posts in this thread - various people getting fundamental details wrong or repeating meaningless tropes about how he'd "crossed state lines" etc...

How much money has Kyle raised?

Who knows how much money is raised, time and time again these grifts come and go (whilst some still continue, still promising that money goes towards the cause when actually, it rarely ever does because you never hear about any outcomes or actual cases that went to court etc).

Anyway I'm not talking about pending legal cases, why would he mention them when the question was to just explain what this project is about, which he could not do clearly without stumbling and then looking off camera to someone who was obviously giving him direction. Tucker even had to feed him some words to get things moving which is strange because if you came up with the whole project idea with a team, then surely you'd know it back to front and be able to talk about it at the click of a finger. It's not like this is his first time on screen now. Just like with all of these people, there is always a body language tell that gives away that there's something being hidden.

Kudos to them though, if you can get people to willingly give you money then your business model is working....

Sorry but I'm not buying any of this one single bit. They are liars or con artists or maybe even both as is usually proven at a later time. Case in point, most of the Republican party and their supporting media outlets.

If he feels certain media outlets spread lies about him, spread misinformation and deliberately misrepresented what happened that day just to paint a picture for their viewers/readers then he has every right to sue them.

Sounds a lot like BLM....

He's going to make bank in the 100s of millions from the defamation court case, so I suspect he will have a top notch legal team.

Precedent has already been recently set, if they have the slightest sense his phone will be ringing off the hook from people looking to settle.

This.

It's time for the liberal liars to pay.

And all those donations he got through that "project" will just line the pockets of those involved. It was a grift just like what trump does under the supposed guise of being wronged. It was called back then when this project was announced, and there's no change on that front.

It never did.

When he first started talking about it several American solicitors who specialise in defamation pointed out that he had a high bar to reach given the circumstances and the US laws on free speech.

That can't be right. I'm certain that at least one person on here said "IT's the US and he probably does stand to get some large payouts from various organisations if he pursues this".
