  • a couple of madlad Ukrainian pilots went off piste from central command (or their local command didn't report the op), or they're fog of war-ing the operation because.... dunno!
  • Russian pilots accidentally attacked the wrong place (that can't be possible, can it?!)
    Edit: or sabotage as protest against war - they'll be losing lots of friends/colleagues for no good reason. Russians would defo keep that quiet.
  • False flag from the Russian side - really don't know why they'd bother?! Unless they're really going to escalate soon? The withdrawl is turning into a nightmare for those pulling back - there's some insane videos on reddit of ambushes and tanks shooting close range at other vehicles hit by arty, unclear if Ukrainian or Russian panicking and trying to clear the road but they're having a mare.

It wouldn't even surprise me if Russia blew it up as that they are wanting more support from the Russians and also possibly want to escalate the war more.

They can go 'look what the Nazis did!'

I dont think the Ukrainians are Nazis by the way!

It's got a 30mm autocannon and can also carry two 23mm gun pods

It's enough to give someone a bad day in anything but the latest western armoured vehicles (even with the latest kit then your still going to having a bad day out).

It can also carry a boat load of rockets, missiles, and bombs

Edit: it's also armoured

Sounds a bit like Russia. Invading a weaker country because they don't have atomic weapons.

Unfortunately for Russia it has shown how poor their conventional military is without vast numbers.
