Russian schoolchildren report teacher for anti-war comments - local media
A Russian schoolteacher has been arrested after being reported to police by her pupils for making anti-war comments, according to local media.
The teenagers in the southern city of Penza are said to have recorded a conversation with Irina Gen, their English teacher, on 18 March.
They were apparently upset that a planned sports trip to the Czech Republic was not going ahead and asked Ms Gen for her opinion.
According to an alleged transcript of the conversation published by the Meduza website, she said it was right that the trip had been cancelled and that such things would continue until Russia "started behaving in a civilised way".
The 55-year-old compared the country to North Korea and "expressed a view of the war in Ukraine different from the official one", Meduza said.
It is thought Ms Gen could face a fine of up to $60,000 or a jail term of up to 10 years.

It's the BBC news, which is kind of the reason we are using the forum rather than the news in the 1st place. Kind of pointless for 99% of people.
Is it really informing to know that Putin is having some fanatical "the West is trying to destroy Russia", or some other clickbait 24/7?

There's a video on Twitter showing scores of dead civilians in the town of Bucha, there doesn't seem to be that much bomb damage in the video either, some people are suggesting they might have been executed.

Rather embarassing for Russia to be able to have helicopters fly into there airspace and do damage I mean hard to tell in the videos what way they are coming from but they seem to fly straight on is that back the border or what.
There is more closeup videos of the helis flying over maybe will be able to confirm it definitely was Ukrainian.

No that's the MiG-27, this one has an autocannon which essentially gives the same result with a different noise.
You can ignore posters you don't like. However the vast majority of people in the thread are highly appreciative of 0007's efforts so don't expect anything to be done if you don't.
The Su-25 and A-10 were both modern day (at the time) recreations of the legendary Ilyushin Il-2 ground attack plane from WW2 and so have extremely similar capabilities/attributes, even if their designers took different routes to get there.It has some crazy firepower though and is armoured, if its anything like the A10 it can take a hammering and still land
