upto 1 march 2001 for Engine size

then up to 2017

then its a flat rate after 2017, but first 5 years is much higher tax

But Ireland isn't like that? What is similar exactly? Their rates are significantly higher.

RS6 up from £600 to £630
C1 remains £20

I'll be honest, I don't even remember it hitting £600 it's all been a SORN/COVID/stuck in Saudi blur!

Dream car, that or the RS7. I looked in to both awhile back. Around 40k sterling for 2015 RS6. By the time it's registered here it costs 100k euro. Absolute joke so that dream ended quickly
