Donbas/breakaway regions might be a possibility but IMO not only is Crimea very difficult to assault Russia will probably go scorched earth before letting it fall to Ukraine - possibly even as far as nuking it.

Presumably he must be able to present lots of solid evidence to back up his many claims about Ukrainian atrocities against their own people.

This. I think even retaking the Donbas regions is a stretch. It will take a serious escalation for Nato/outside parties to provide Ukraine with any serious offensive power capable of staging anything meaningful in the way of pushback. Numbers and firepower don't mean so much when you're the aggressor, but once Russia dig in it'll be a vicious stalemate.

I still honestly think that it will boil down to one of two options: Russia makes unlikely concessions or Ukraine has to cede territory. I just don't see how else it can go.

Russia gets forced out of Ukraine and its back to the stalemate - and with the country mobilised.....
 
Depends on which side is making it up, currently I am on the rest of the world side apart from about 6 other countries.

It’s a perfectly fair comment to make if you just post something like that without sources which you could have just dreamt up. Post the “sources” and you’d have some credibility, otherwise it’s just whether we believe whatever you write.

The biggest complication is Russian air-power, unless Ukraine is supplied with the tools to be able to dominate the skies over Ukraine Russia can easily defend concentrated lines defensively.

I'm seeing the videos on Telegram groups so I won't post as more backlash, however I get your point, no sources no credibility. That's fair.

Until there are credible sources I'll believe all the rest where they are credible and verified.

Russia has and continues to commit atrocities en-mass.
 
Always amazes me how they, the Russians, can actually stand up in front of the world and, without any sense of shame, deny this.

Russia must be the unluckiest country on the planet, everywhere they go somebody follows them and commits war crimes, which they then stage the evidence to incriminate Russia. Even when they got caught using nerve agent on UK soil to murder a UK citizen they came out with the 'it wasn't us, it was somebody else trying to make it look like us' line. They're a ******* joke!
