I have not long purchased an i9 12900k processor along with a Gigabyte Z690 UD AX motherboard and to be honest bitten off more than i can chew. I need a cooler and struggling.
Socket 1700 and looking what is compatible on various sites that link you to something that doesnt mention socket 1700 or mentions brackets to upgrade. Some claim they come with the bracket from the date such and such but there is no guarantee you will get that newer one from stock.
Ive already spent 1400 on parts and to be honest i cant really spend more and im stuck ina corner
Can someone recommend something around the £80-£150 mark that would definitely fit the socket size i require?

Thanks

The arctic liquid freezer range are a go-to option for reasonably priced AIOs that perform well.

Eg the 360mm model: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/arct...ormance-cpu-water-cooler-360mm-hs-07d-ar.html
You could even go for a 420mm model if your case will take it, might actually see a difference in temps using a 12900k.

The shop page says it supports socket 1700 so it should come with all the bits necessary. If for some reason it doesn't then you can buy a mounting kit separately or Arctic will send it you for free if you send them proof of purchase of the AIO and CPU: https://www.arctic.de/en/support/lga1700-mounting-kits/

Could possibly post in the customer service subforum if you want to make double sure before purchasing.

Thank you for your suggestion Gents
But see this is the problem. Compatible and brackets concerns me. I order and find i need a bracket. I therefore have to wait until said bracket arrives. I buy a said bracket and find its already compatible.

almost all coolers with need a backplate unless you get new stock. and the only way to know your getting new stock is to make a call to OcUK.
All so if you call the shop if a cooler doesn't have a backplate included they will put one in if the have some.

the best answer is to call the shop.

I got the same MoBo and CPU and have:

Corsair Hydro X Series XC7 RGB PRO CPU Water Block for Intel LGA 1700

And it's working grate just mount it 90 degrees rather than 0 degrees so the pipe that is taking water out is on top and the one that is giving water is below that way pipe that takes water will suck out all air bubbles other way if you mount it at 0 degrees you will always have air bubble at the top of block but that principle goes for all water blocks.
