UEFA Champions & Europa League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [5th - 7th April 2022]

AM are just like a swarm of fire ants. Super well organised defensively but dear lord they make the game dull.

I'm not sure why their fans suffer through it. They have a hugely talented squad that probably wouldn't compete with an in form Barca or RM but would at least still be expected to come top 3 in the league and do pretty well in the CL. Currently they are never likely to win the league or CL and their fans must get depressed watching them most of the time.

And people rip in to Burnley/Dyche for their style of play, it's exactly the same as AM/Simeone. I hope City score just to bring AM out lol

Atletico have got 5 at the back. City need to get a body in the box full time, playing a false 9 isnt going to work

Lol, they literally won la Liga last season

Wow, how. They even won it with a good points total (86pts). Do they play massively differently in the league?

They're a good side to watch. Simeone is only like this when his team are massive underdogs

70% possession, Pep needs to get another attacker on the pitch instead of a CM, crying out for Grealish to run at those CB's

Salah just needs a goal really, he's understandably down at the moment, missed out on AFCON title, then failed to qualify for the World Cup. He just needs a morale booster, a key winning goal against City at the weekend should do the trick :)
