UEFA Champions & Europa League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [5th - 7th April 2022]

I'd have certainly taken a 2 goal advantage before the game but it's difficult not to be a little frustrated after the way that went. I thought we were excellent in the first half and could have put the tie to bed with all the chances we had. Had we gone 3 up then their heads would have dropped and we could have won that by 4 or 5. A sloppy mistake to let them back into the match and it was a bit nervy for the next 10-15 mins but we looked in control for the final 30 mins and could have scored another goal or two.

That lad Foden had got potential.
I wonder if Southgate had a vision of what would happen to Greenwood and Foden. Both huge talents who strayed and one who needed the lesson and grew up. The other who frittered a career.
