Morning,

My nephew really wants to play this game and funds are tight. Could someone advise a decent budget solution for playing this, and similar, games plus some school work. Hopefully to last 5 ish years.

Specs are as follows:

  • MINIMUM:
    • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
    • OS: Windows 7 (SP1+)/8.1/10 64bit
    • Processor: Intel i5-2500 / AMD FX-6350
    • Memory: 8 GB RAM
    • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 (2GB) / AMD Radeon R9 270X (2GB)
    • Storage: 16 GB available space
    • Additional Notes: Minimum specifications may change during development

  • RECOMMENDED:
    • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
    • OS: Windows 10 64bit
    • Processor: Intel i7-4770k / AMD Ryzen 5 1600
    • Memory: 16 GB RAM
    • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (8GB) or AMD Radeon RX 580 (8GB)
    • Storage: 16 GB available space

Thanks.

Here is a budget option using 12th gen intel chip and its igpu. It will play the game becuase it is apparently massively cpu bound once the park gets large. This will not run with high gfx settings

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £607.19 (includes delivery: £12.30)

This particular Intel chips does not have the little cores so you will be fine downloading and installing Win10 from the Microsoft website and installing it.

You do not say what your budget is but if you have more to spend then this is an option -

This just plugs into the above build and makes an excellent build fo rnext 5+ years , if not longer.

You really need to put your budget in so people can advise more.

Thank you @Haz123.

I didn't mention budget as I know their Mum will think anything over £100 is daft.

What you've gone into looks ideal and is about where I was thinking it would need to be price wise. The gfx part is v interesting and good that it could be added down the line.

Thanks. Would you take the X for an extra £10 and what motherboard would be comparable to the above please? Presume all the other bits would still hold up with the change.
The x has no graphics you need the g varient like the 5600g, motherboard the msi is a solid choice with Wi-Fi. You may have to update the bios on the motherboard for the cpu to work this can be done with bios flashback feature on the motherboard no need for a older cpu to do this. Drop the cooler from the intel build as its not compatable.
