Nursery room furniture - Help/recommended

Ours was all mamas and papas when you could go the shops. All the kids bedrooms are all ikea’d up now…

The M&P stuff has lasted for all four of ours.. littlest is just a bit too big for the cot now…

7 years and it’s all gone together and back down again really well.

Used to swear by John Lewis - worth it for the extra warranty - but the stuff you’ve posted is at a similar price point. No reason to suspect it won’t be just as good’

Online4baby themselves are legitimate and we've ordered a few big items from them, however their delivery times aren't always the quickest but you can contact support by email to check approx.

We just got some off Facebook marketplace and ordered a tutti bambino (I think that's the brand) cot off wayfair as it was cheaper than elsewhere. It's very good quality.

Only on number 2, but I’d echo this. The M&P furniture seems to have gone back together nicely after being taken down. Something that IKEA furniture does less well at in my experience.

M&Ps here too. Have the cot which converts into a bed. Good quality and has lasted both our kids well. We had some problems with brittle fittings breaking and they sent us replacement parts for free long after they stopped making the set.

Thank you for your replies :) sorry been busy prepping the room - i think we will go for M&P as your right there is a showroom ^^

Cheers, man yeah i think i avoid them haha! bit tight for delivery issues lol

get a full sized wardrobe, you can probably get an almost brand new changing table second hand since people only use them for like 6-9months

Momas and popas cot/bed changer/drawers and wardrobe have serviced 4 children in this house been taken apart and rebuilt several times without issue, Trick is not to over tighten so it pulls into the wood and you will be fine!
The youngest two are all IKEA'd up now and have a very stylish bedroom.

Personally for ours we just bought second hand and just bought a new mattress and car seat. Saved a lot of money. Same with clothes. Just got hand-me-downs. Whilst it's nice to have new stuff, we didn't see the point. Something to consider if you're trying to save a bit of money.

Agree with this approach. I hope that we can pass on our furniture once we’ve finished with it. We’ve been really lucky with our son with borrowed and second hand things, especially baby clothes! The bedroom furniture was new for our daughter thanks to a kind family gift.

Yes we were lucky. Not denying that. Also the stuff we got was good quality and we'll be able to pass it on. In fact we are going to in a few months for a friend who has just had a baby.

Yeah, I recon I would have done the same with the Facebook market place but my mother insisted to get the furniture as it her first grandson!

Well that's always handy! :D

We're just keen on freecycling and trying to be as sustainable as possible - but never look a gift horse in the mouth!
