New build help please

many reccomendations on the case?
The p400 does not support a top mounted radiator unfortunately so I’m sat here unable to build.
Does it have to go in the top? The p400 air has 420mm gpu clearance, so all but the very largest gpus for a future upgrade would fit in with an AIO at the front.

After a lot of faffing around i have finally got it mounted to the front of the case….
Only to find out that the cooler doesn’t ship with the correct mounting kit for LGA1700.

what a waste of time by OcUK also having in the description that it supports this socket.

Arctic will send you the correct mounting kit free of charge if you contact them. When new sockets come out it is always the case that old stock will not always have the new mounting kits in the box.

I had no issues when I fitted an Artic Freezer II on an AM4 mobo. It was little confusing at first but once I got my head around the parts it was easy enough.

That's disappointing it didn't come with the 1700 mounting hardware, as it is now advertised as supporting socket 1700, so it should now come with everything you need.

Maybe drop ocuk a message? If they won't send one for free then can either pay to buy one, or go to arctic to get it free: https://www.arctic.de/en/support/lga1700-mounting-kits/

No ideas about the screws attaching the mounting bracket to the pump not fitting... Only suggestion is to double check you've got the correct bits and not accidentally mixed them up with some other bits of mounting hardware...

picked up a cooler for same day delivery from Arctic directly.

finished build, slightly bigger at 280 also and it was a very very tight squeeze in the P400.

some pictures (admittedly not the best but im rubbish with a camera.)
