Hi guys so I am looking at this to buy

£200

All I know is that it is

Medion Erazer P6661 and the picture.

Not sure if I should buy as I have no money and this is cheap.

Downgrading from desktop with rx580.

Is ot going to be massive drop or ?

You do not really give all the relevant specs for both systems so is hard to compare when we have no idea what cpu your desktop has and what you are expecting to do with the new laptop.

You should realisticly expect less than 1/3 the gpu power from the 950M that google says is in that laptop when compared to a desktop RX580. The 6200U is a dual core Skylake cpu so will limit any gaming you do to a massive degree and a lot of modern games will laugh at you for even trying to play them at acceptable fps. If this is actually a P6661 without a 950M then you will have Intel HD520 gfx which can just about run Solitaire.

I am sure that laptop can browse the web just fine but it will be very very lacklustre when running anything that requires real cpu performance. It is an average laptop from 7+ years ago so you cannot expect good performance.

Sorry I didn't have much info myself. Just come across it. However your information is all I needed to hear to make me not want to buy it lol. Thank you

Graphics cards haven't moved on much (relatively) in years at the mid/low-end, so if you want better performance than a RX 580 you'll have to pay a lot more than £200 I'm afraid. In desktops, £200 would only just buy you a card equivalent to the RX 580 (RX 6500 XT).
