I realise this is a bit random but just wondering if there are any decent affordable solutions.

My main gaming PC is here in my lounge, but I have a cabin in the garden that I would like to setup my sim racing rig in (Playseat, wheel etc) permanently rather than going into the cupboard, unpacking etc. I would get a new monitor probably an ultrawide 1440p but I need to keep my gaming PC in my lounge. The cabin is about 30 metres away. What would be the best way of doing this? I've had a look into some wireless HDMI solutions but not sure these would work that well over distance without spending a lot. If it is even possible of course.

Any help appreciated.

Depending how well you can look after it, an active HDMI cable might do it. While mine is indoors, I have a 20m or 25m running from my pc in the office to the front room, works a treat. You'd need to consider how to connect all the sim gear up though. What connections would that need?

An alternative option is using Thunderbolt to a hub, and then have the display, wheel, etc connected to that. I've seen Linus having a similar setup so it should be doable, and will mean you will only need to run one cable instead of multiple ones for your setup. However, this may also end up quite expensive (Linus uses the Razer dock which is around £300 odd).

Is it a game on steam?
Get a tv that can run the steam app big picture?
It can stream over the network.

Now for the distance, run a cat 5/6 cable from your router to a hub- or straight into the tv.

Only problem with this is it won't necessarily play nicely with the peripherals

Definitely needs an optical HDMI cable
