Long story short, I'm interested in an F-Type P380 Jag and found one that looks good - My own HPI check (totalcarcheck.co.uk) says its a 340 even though the badge on the back of the car and the dealer says its a 380.

Is there a way (apart from the badge) to prove beyond doubt what it is?

I've been sent a copy - doesn't have the engine power details on it or any other clues.
They have CO2 rating - assume you can cross check the 340 and 380 emissions and work it out?

Also doesn’t it have max power in kW - you can convert kW to PS/HP easily and work it out.

The V6 S is the 380bhp so look out for that, not much else to spot.

If you get the VIN I can do a full check.

EDIT: you say P380 so i guess this is a MY18+ car.

It does indeed have a CO2 rating of 223 G/KM which corresponds to a 340, so its not looking good.
