What is your mid - morning snack?

I've been having a nut butter bar lately, but on a whim decided to get a flapjack and though the flapjack itself was tasty, the yoghurt topping was millimetre thin, which was very disappointing. Does anyone know of a flapjack that has a thick yoghurt coating? Furthermore, if anyone has a suggestion or wishes to share which snack gets them through that difficult period between breakfast to lunchtime (just the information, not the actual snack), I'd be interested to hear it.

I only get hungry mid-morning if I have breakfast, without I barely get hungry by 1pm. Give it a week or two of skipping breakfast and you'll realise you never needed it, the cereal companies have been lying to us!

Agree for the most part.

If I have breakfast, I'm starving mid-morning. Unless it's, like, 5 eggs or something.

I need breakfast because if I skip it I'll feel sick a hour or so into the day. I'd love a fry up, but wouldn't get much work done afterwards.

This is the wrong forum. You should have posted in La Cuisine

I have Kellogg's all bran and a coffee. This keeps me going for a couple of hours but not until lunch. All bran contains sugar but not much and it's about 90% bran, which certainly keeps things running regularly.

another milky coffee? maybe with a pain au chocolat/choc chip brioche/croissant, or any type of bar

even just a coffee late in the morning means I don't feel like eating lunch until well in to the afternoon

Big cereal at it again.

Yea if you eat cereal, most of those are packed with sugar.

Have a banana or egg for breakfast it's much better.
Yep, no sugar in a banana.
