Lenovo G50 - 70 wireless card - Upgrade?

The wireless card in my laptop only does 2.4ghz and want too upgrade it too support 5ghz.

Is this possible and can someone recommend a wireless card that would work.

If not, I could buy a USB one, but would rather just have one built in.

I did see that today, but page 80 makes no sense too me. It seems very technical.

Page 39 shows you how to install a WiFi card. It'll usually just be one screw to hold WiFi card in and two antenna cables.

Here's a video showing a typical replacement.

You'd need to buy a compatible card like the one in the Lenovo thread at the end.

I don't know what one works though. Page 80 is complicated and I don't understand it. So I have no idea what wireless card would work.

There is a link to one in the Lenovo support thread that i linked in my first post, the very last post in it.

There will be better cards than that one but it's dual band and you have evidence it works.

No probably not but it looks like that gen of Lenovos are pretty fussy about WiFi cards.
