Radiator brands difference from brand A to B?

is there any noticeable performance difference between different brand radiators of the same spec ie two 360 rads both 30mm thick? Are there bad and good rads to get better cooling?
 
not much these days no.if they have the same are and the same fins per inch there will be no measurable difference. some brands though do go for a higher fpi than others so combining the fpi with an appropriate fan type will result in performance gains over an inappropriate fan type.

i.e. high fpi needs fan with higher static pressure, low fpi rad benefits from higher airflow.

but there's not going to be much in it and the safest way is to just put in more cooling than you could possibly need.
 
Im thinking of changing a rad in one of my builds and dont have space to add more or bigger rads, but it seems like not going to get any improvements. Temps are not bad for the size but water temps hit 50c under gaming load but this is with fans maxing out at 1600rpm.

Can only use a 240rad 30mm thick.
 
water temps of 50C could be an issue if you have PETG but otherwise if the cooling of the components is adequate then don't worry about it. If you're really alarmed and you can't put anything bigger than 240mm in the case, have you thought of having an external radiator?

That's really hot for the water temp, mine barely touches 30c. If you're running PETG i would be worried about it softening and deforming over time.
 
I'm running acrylic and gpu under load is about 61c and cpu at 80c, the whole reason i built the itx was for the size and too see if its possible so don't want to go external rad.

These temps are with ambient temps at 27c in my room and after about 5 hours of gaming.
 
No matter what rad you go for a 30mm thick 240mm rad simply isn't enough to adequately cool a cpu and gpu. Your water temp is only 10 degrees away from causing something to fail as most water cooling components are only rated for 60 degrees C. I presume it's the middle pc in your siggy with the 5600x and 3090FE? I should imagine that if you can't add any extra rad space (even a 120mm would help) then putting either the cpu or gpu back to air cooling would make a massive difference. Actually, putting the cpu back to air cooling will probably see temps around the same level as your stressed out water loop so you wouldn't be losing anything.
 
I think its the monoblock is tipping the scales as with a EK velocity2 block I tested before had water temps at 41c and cpu was 69c gpu 58c max, but the two little fans on the Asus X570-i were runnig like 7000rpm as this monoblock does make contact with VRM and chipset.

I'll try undervolting the gpu and cpu over the weekend and see if I can get a drop on the water levels. What would you say is acceptable water temps not great but acceptable for the size of the build (Dan A4-H2O)?
 
There can be a bit of difference, yes.

For anyone that says cheaper can't be decent



Especially the 60mm variant.
 
Undervolt on the gpu at .800v 1850mhz, cpu undervolt -offset .125 getting temps of gpu 55c cpu 69c and water 44c, ambient 25c.
