Someone has managed to hack FSR 2.0 into Cyberpunk by adding 3 DLL's to replace DLSS and sort of translate DLSS commands to FSR 2.0. The results seem pretty amazing for non-RTX cards...

Here's a 6800XT comparison which I linked from a Reddit thread

https://imgsli.com/MTE0MDY2

I tried it and couldn't tell the difference between DLSS and FSR 2.0 so not sure it is working for me on my 3080. If it is working then it is essentially the same as DLSS.
Can someone with an old Nvidia or AMD card try it.

Crashes with 4K, so set the resolution to 1800p instead. Looks great! Using a 6800.

edit: Things to note:
- Ghosting is definitely obvious in certain circumstances (such as NPCs passing by a fence)
- There's a line-long artifact at the bottom of the screen all across it when rotating the camera around, I think due to temporal accumulation, this was in Rancho Corronado during a rain
- Performance is completely whack, the scaling is very weird between modes & with/without RT but definitely an improvement in terms of PQ/fps over native upscaling or FSR 1.0
- Not sure the presets work well in terms of Quality vs Performance etc. The lower end ones look too good and the performance gains are minor, so it just seems fishy.

All in all, this makes me super excited for native integration of FSR 2.0 into the game, but this mod I wouldn't say is great due to the aforementioned issues + it makes the game quite crash prone, which is to be expected.

Comparison at 1080p, both in performance mode, RT maxed out but crowd, clouds + fog at medium:

I'm quite CPU bottlenecked tho (6800K).

I think it fixes the line problem if you disable motion blur.

Yup, ended figuring that out, but thanks. There's a similar sort of problem when I do a ultrawide resolution (+ FOV 100) but within a 16:9 aspect ratio and the bottom of the screen has a line that looks unlike the rest of the screen sometimes, I think due to culling issues, this is without FSR 2 or anything else.

Fences (and things like car antennas) in general are a problem in CP2077 and DLSS (though less so with the latest DLSS DLLs), so probably not surprising if it happens with FSR 2.0 as well.

Official support is here!

Uploading video, will link once finished processing to 4k version.

Comparing performance mode as it is the only way to play the game at around 60 fps maxed out with rt @ 3440x1440 (sharpness turned off for screenshots)

Here is a quality preset comparison though:

FSR 2.1 is good in this, outside of pixel peeping and side by side comparisons, wouldn't notice tbh, personally I would turn off the sharpening entirely for FSR too.

EDIT:

Watching this back on youtube and wow! Does YT completely butcher the quality, looks much better watching the recording file before uploading to YT:
