What TV shows are you currently watching

How are you watching this ? pretty sure its not out in the uk yet, but it was planning on releasing on Disney plus

I am also interested in this.

A quick google suggest this was released on 17th June in the UK on Star (Disney Plus) but I cant find it. How are you all watching it ??

Thats a shame, it was on my to-watch list but I can cross that off now. I've lost count of the number of shows that I've really enjoyed which have then been cancelled after 1 season. Meanwhile dross like Love Island gets season after season

This, so annoying.

The Lazarus Project.

One of those that could be good, but the way it's been put together, written, and filmed kind of takes a lot away from it. It's more humorous than serious. The violence, twists, or bits that might be shocking/interesting, are just presented without much build up. Then there's the camera work. There doesn't seem to any/many establishing shots. It just jumps from scene to scene.

I imagine a serious US version with some budget behind it would be much better.

I give it a 6/10

Watched the last half of Reacher the last few nights after getting mid way through a month or two back and not feeling it, doesn't really get a lot better. Extremely formulaic and predictable - he does carry it well though and is immensely better than the Cruise movies - i'd give it a 6.5/10 overall.

I'll dip into a new season to see if it improves most likely.

Channel4 undeclared(cyber) war is growing on me - initially somewhat cliched/woke, but the story has some interesting twists even if acting is marginal,
some plagiarism of Arlington Road ...
... looks like old man is a serialiation of enemy of the state.

Steve Coogan Chivalry was great - blend of parody and sour on #metoo theme

Finished Fleabag. It's a little different and good fun. I like the main character's use of breaking the 4th wall, works really well. Only 12 eps of 21-26 mins, so quite quickly viewed on Amazon Prime Video.

Season 2 left me craving a lot more, the dynamic between her and the priest was fantastic and I loved his reactions to her 4th wall breaks.

Have you also tried 'Crashing' it's another with PWB playing an equally likeable and loathsome character. It used to be available on Netflix

Snowfall S5.

Bit underrated IMO, I don't feel like anyone watched it for some reason.

Just finished "The Undeclared War" - a solid 7 out of 10.

Just finished "Utopia" S1 from 2013, CH4. A little bit out of the ordinary, again 7 out of 10 for me.

Can't be bothered to finish "The Terminal List" it's just not very good.

Currently watching: -

The Terminal List, only two episodes in, enjoying it, but for the life of me can't work out if he's lost it or it's all a setup/conspiracy.

Yeah, i've only watched 2 as well, but it's hard because at times you believe both!
