Company of heroes 1 with mods.

Just a comment here about Company of heroes mods, I've been playing the original versh for absolutely years (literally) and have only just discovered all the available free mods that people over the years have made, and its absolutely stunning. Most of the latest games that come out don't have repeat gameplay for me, so once I've done a game, I generally forget about it. These mods breathed new life into an old, great game, and I'm like the proverbial pig in **** atm, having a ball playing these mods listed below:

Europe at war,
basic training
Eastern front,
Modern warfare.

Having an absolute blast playing through them and can thoroughly recommend them, pity I didn't find out about them earlier!

Back to Basics is another decent mod!

We did try Blitzkrieg a while back but some of the maps had issues where the AI couldn't move!

I've got "Back to Basics" installed but I can't get the game to even start to load, just shows in steam as running, then drops back to play, so for the time being I'm ploughing me way through the "modern warfare" mod, loads of fun, but harder than I expected as theres no tuition part (that I can see) nor any explanation of what the units can and can't do, so I'm learning on the fly as it were. Still fun though and from a game thats over 15 years old. Demonstrates to me that game developers today think more of looks (and revenue), than gameplay and longevity.
