The speed test doesn't appear to be 100% accurate - but of course it's numbers on a screen and so begins the test after test to make those numbers bigger and more importantly - bigger than what someone else got :)
Even at the lowest benchmark (on the PS5) speeds, it still exceeds that of the internal storage solution so will be fine.
I have a 2TB Gigabyte Aorus in mine - the day after I bought it Gigabyte released a firmware with the build notes "for full PS5 compatibility". As I'd already installed and started using it I couldn't be bothered to take it out and update. Hasn't missed a beat.

Unfortunately I'm not sure, I updated with mine anyway as it only took a couple of mins but I forgot to check what firmware revision it came with. The reviews will mostly be based on the older non-heatsink version so it's entirely likely the newer heatsink-equipped one comes with newer firmware that has the fix already applied.

Either way the competition will be good. I cannot see Sony giving out vouchers for other stores, but I want to see MS step it up again. They've nerfed earning quite a bit, I really miss 10K Gamer Score challenges they did.
 
Seems like the licenses are messed up for FF7 Remake, if you own the digital or PS+ version it does not let you get the Intergrade PS+ Extra version. Unless it‘s Square playing shenanigans like they did with the PS+ version of the game and the free PS5 upgrade.

I didn't know you could use rewards at amazon, I've just been stockpiling mine.
 
Is there a reason why the physical release of Stray is not out until September, but the digital is out now?

Was it maybe to entice people to upgrade their sub from Essential to Extra and get it for 'free'? :p

You can do it but it's fiddly. Basically even though it says unavailable click on the game and in the list select ps4 - ps5 upgrade.

When it gets to the upgrade page there are 2 options - the first one does not give a download option but the second one does and let's you install it. Hope that helps if not let me know and I will try to find the youtube video posted today by some kind soul that explains it better than me with real-time screens.
 
I just went to download my old save for ghost of Tsushima only to find it's not there anymore. And actually the game has a completely separate trophy list so I wonder if it's treated it as a different game entirely.

Come to think of it. I had the PS4 version and use the upgrade path

Did you have the physical edition and upgrade to the digital ps5 version (no idea if that's how it works, but I've found some games keep saves separate between digital and physical versions).

Can't recall. It shows as PS4 version in my trophy list anyway. But yeah I do recall having a desk actually now I said that

I was naming it wrong we don’t seem to have access to ”Intermission” not “Intergrade” so we don’t get access to the Yuffie DLC if you have the PS+ or digital version already. And surprise surprise the Yuffy DLC goes on sale today…

Edit - The issue got solved within the last hour.

I think when I played it again on the ps5 it treated it as a new game.

No. It‘s a very short game if you’re just doing the main-line missions, and gets boring quick doing the side stuff unless you’re very into Japanese culture. I’d wait until it’s sub £20 or buy physical and sell in after.
