Does anyone use an air purifyer / air filter at home?

I'm thinking of buying two air purifyers and putting one downstairs and one upstairs.

The purpose is for dust reduction and I want to know what your thoughts were about this?

They work really well if you get a decent one. Some of them are next to useless and one downstairs and one upstairs wont do the entire house unless your talking £300+ per unit. Most units only do 1 small room or 1 large room based on size. Make sure you clean the filter every month or two with an air canaster. Not much point having a purifiers running on 6+month old filters that have never been cleaned.

I used to use it in the Bedroom with the door shut. Now its in the computer room with the door shut. Some are smart, some are dumb but overall does the job very well to collect dusts and etc.

I have a big Vax that seems to do the job and helps with the dust/pollen etc.
