PSU still ok?

Hi all,

Looking at doing an cpu/mobo upgrade very soon. I just need to know if my EVGA SuperNOVA G2 750w is still ok to run
12700k cpu and z690 mobo while powering a 2080ti?.

750w is enough but old is the psu and has it had a hard life ?

Not really, it's 3 years old come October.
It's been running 3700x @ 4ghz @1.1v
2080ti never been overclocked.
3 SSD and custom waterloop.

It is a very good psu , it is not old and has not been run on the red limit.

It is fine to keep using that psu.

I own the 550watt version of that PSU. Its the first and one of the very few to get 10 out of 10 on JonnyGuru when that site was still around (not any more though)

G2's are more or less the same as the Superflower Ledex platform & there are others on here that will speak volumes about them.

I'd only worry when the PSU is anywhere near it's warranty period, for now you're all good, they're great PSUs, i prefer my old G2 to my Leadex (both great, i just think the G2 was a nicer PSU overall).

the EVGA SuperNOVA G2 750w should be more than enough to power a 12700k CPU and Z690 motherboard with a 2080ti.
