What TV shows are you currently watching

Started watching S1 of this the other day. After 2 episodes discovered that you can switch the dub off and have native german with subtitles. Infinitely better. No idea why people try and watch these things with the awful dubbing.
We tried, god knows we tried, and we are firmly in the "Sub is best" group when it comes to anime, but for some reason can't manage with Germanic languages.

I'm normally playing CoD or cooking/cleaning and find it difficult watching subtitled shows.

You are not really watching the TV then at all and may as well have music on in the background.

I watched the last Mission impossible film while trying to do some work. Watched it again recently and realised that apart from some of the dialogue being familiar, I think 90% of the film was fresh and new to me.

Finished Season 4 of Gomorrah, simply quality and now onto the last season. OCUK delivered as a recommendation, highly recommended. Picked up the 2008 film which started it all, to watch at some point.

Subtitles aren't perfect and can miss some key details, or show too fast so you really have to concentrate; but dubbing ack! Native language and subtitles anytime.

Have started watching Picard - Season 2 which is somewhat intriguing. But then a saw a little ad for The Wheel of Time on the Amazon Prime hub and wondered what that was. Put on episode 1 and was even more intrigued. So then I watched episode two and thought it was really good. Haven't a clue what it is about as I've never read the books.

Trainwreck:Woodstock 99 [Netflix]

Never really cared or was interested in American music festivals back then but watching this over the last few days. Absolutely crazy ****. When Fatboy Slim has to run out the party and get to the airport you know its badddd.

The walking dead because I'm bored. Just finishing Season 3, seems dull now, no one is scared of the zombies. Does it get better?
It does get better, and then worse again, and then worse, and then... not sure, I gave up at season 8 (I think).
Just started watching the Boys. Only 4 episodes in but absolutely loving it. It's so dark
Oh you've got so much darker to come :D

You may enjoy it if you haven't read the books. :)

Finished season 2 of Space Force only to read it was cancelled.

Shame, thought it was really good.
No way! You've just ruined my week with that news :( I loved season 1, season 2 wasn't quite as good but still excellent and annoyingly a couple of episodes shorter. Not quite sure how I didn't spot that after finishing watching season 2.

I've slowly been working my way through Parks & Recreation on Netflix (about 3 seasons in) only to go to switch it on the other night to find Netflix had delisted it  At least it seems like it'll be on Sky soon via Peacock.

Now, I love Ryan Reynolds as much as the next guy but is Netflix spending too much on its blockbuster titles that it can't maintain TV show content

Finished S5 of 'Last Tango in Halifax'. Quite an odd season, which I see was 2020 so I wonder if it got wrapped up earlier than planned, as lots of things didn't get answered. Quite odd, five seasons spread over about 8 years, but generally quite good TV.

Started on 'People Just Do Nothing' which I think someone on this thread recommended some time back, maybe @SixTwoSix? Really enjoying it. (Just searched back, he actually said he was getting bored of it  Did you carry on through @SixTwoSix?)

Also finally started 'Sherlock', the BBC version with Cumberbatch. Only watched one episode, but loved all 90 minutes of it!
