Tips for removing exhaust manifold bolts?

Problem is I've ordered a new exhaust to fit myself, nobody out there will fit customer suplied parts.
I will but the labour rate differs considerably to reflect my lost profits on any parts. Plus if I supply a wrong or I'll fitting part I eat it, along with lost time buggering about with it. If the customer supplies it, they eat it all.

Looks like I'll have to drill out the broken stud, maybe use a tap and tie to rethread the hole. Also I discovered sealant which I'll try. Should be able to hack something together.

Using that without drilling and tapping the stud is about as much use as a sticking plaster over a shotgun wound.
It’ll last minutes before blowing out.
If the job is done right you won’t need it (that’s what the manifold gasket is for).

Good tip. Thanks. Saved me £4.

Next issue, seperating the middle and end exhaust sections. As I'm sure you know they will be fused and depressed to a degree due to the clamp. I can either heat up with a propane torch, slide the clamp down a bit, tighten then hammer at the clamp to try and seperate or, I believe I can cut a few inches off the end pipe section and use a joint like this

Will these joints be ok?
