Should I wait or buy now?

hoping its like 3080 so £650-800 i would say is my budget

If you don't care if its a Nvidia or AMD card the best value card is this and comes with a £120 gift too.

If it has to be Nvidia then :-

In stock .

Or Preorder the 3080ti here for £800 :-

These are the best value and quality cards in my opinion at the current moment for pricing.

If you want to add another £50 to your max budget and want the best of the best from AMD there is currently the reference 6950xt for £848.99 which is best price you will find it anywhere.

can get 3080ti with 12gb at 800 pounds mate.

Just buy whenever you like. If it's time for you it's time for you. Don't worry yourselves over if it's the right time. I bought a 3090 fe at 1400 and I don't regret it in any way at all! It's a fantastic and powerful card that will power my rig for a long while yet

Yes but you need to preorder it (also who knows how long before they actually appear ;), I have a feeling some of these preorder prices will never appear in stock at these prices too), I did add it in the edit :), I forgot to add it in before posting.

Nah ,can't say where though.
In stock @800

Recently, I went from a 980Ti to a 3070 and although I haven't really let it stretch its GPU legs yet,
I can still see a big performance uplift in titles.

Would it be good for 1440p 165Hz for warzone?
If you want 1440p 165fps average, max & RT settings in warzone you will need something like a Radeon 6950xt (this video should show 1080, 1440 and 4k in warzone on the card, but he seems to have forgotten to change the title of the resolution from 1080p to 1440p in the top right when he changed to 1440p) https://youtu.be/6cATxEEs7wg?t=422
If you want to save money just buy a 3070ti, turn down the settings and enjoy the game

Just wait for another 4-6 weeks. You certainly dont need next gen cards for 1440p, 3080/6800XT card will be plenty for that, but they will continue dropping in price over the next month. Worst case scenario is that somehow they sell out and then you just buy a lower tier 40x0 or 7x00.

i have a 3070 and it achieved max 135hz @ 1440p with lowest settings. So not sure if 3070ti will..
From what I read is the Warzone is a bit CPU limited

I think OP would definitely see improvement upgrading his graphic card from the 980ti, but the chances are for Warzone in particular something like even a 3070 will not get 100% usage due to CPU bottleneck caused by the game itself.
