Far Cry 6 - gpu usage drops in benchmark on 12900K

Hi pc:

12900K with NZXT KRAKEN X73

2x16GB DDR4 KINGSTON DDR4 3600MHZ in GEAR 1

RTX 3090 Ti Gigabyte Gaming

Aorus Z690 Elite DDR4 bios F5

SSD 1 TB NVM PCIE

Seasonic 1300W PX Prime Platinium

Hi. I have an question. During running benchmark in Far Cry 6 on 1440P ULTRA, i have random gpu usage drops from 98% to like 80% or 70%. This happens sometimes. Just usage drops for a moment.I tried to close ubisoft connect,run game from desktop,turning off gsync but still not help.

Also other programs are closed in background.

I compare this on youtube and other users with 12900K dont have that drops. Is this still game issue or not? Also temps are ok. Scores of cpu tests 3dmark are fine. Thanks

For sure that’s the PSU fault , try installing 6900xt maybe . Surely Matt can help .

The easiest fix is to play the game, realise it’s repetitive and uses textures from Minecraft, then uninstall.

Hey guys. Update. I Closed Msi afterburner and my scores are higher and ok. But can i keep Msi AFterburner during game,not benchmark? Only benchmarks is affected?

The benchmark has frame drops in it whether its nvidia or AMD, most noticeable on the first zoom into the island.
