I'm not saying aj is ducking the fight, I'm saying hearn will duck the fight. Ajs ego will want the fight.

I think baz hit the nail on the head. It's the wrong time for aj after coming off 2 defeats and hearn will want him to fight some bums with still good pay days before looking to fight fury in 2 years time.

Personally i think it should be made, a last roll of the dice for aj and if he loses can ride into the sunset with a big wad of cash.
Hearn doesn’t control AJ’s career. Of course it’s the wrong time but your still going to give him none of the credit accepting it or all of the stick if he doesn’t, aren’t you? Fury gets off Scott free and so does Wilder.

Right so by your omission having a loss or 3 or even 8 by your favourite boxer, is not the be all and end all. How about some of you take your Tyson Fury coated blinkers off and give AJ a bit of credit. If he takes the fight he shows a big old pair of balls, if he loses which he’s expected too, it doesn’t mean he’s washed up, it means he dared to be great, just like Pac-Man. He fought the 2 best guys back to back to back. Who does that? It certainly isn’t Wilder he’s fighting Helanius, but no one is calling him this or that. He’s great because to say otherwise is to diminish Fury’s wins over him.

If the fight doesn’t happen it doesn’t mean he’s scared, it can’t be any different than Fury pulling out the first time they were set to fight. Was Fury scared to rematch Klitschko? Ustinov? Chisora? C’mon come back to reality.
I can see we a geting someware but if AJ its not scared so why dont take the fight (money problem 60/40). Do you realy wants to see this fight not taking place and latter on comments around a world (Fury or AJ ) its not great champion because they did not fight eatch other. But that must bee soon.

Why didn’t Fury take the first fight? The contract was signed the fight was announced.

Here’s another thing why is Fury not getting stick for wanting to fight a guy coming off back to back losses? Surely it’s the same as when Wilder thought he was getting Fury at the right time coming off a big layoff due to being caught doping.

Surely it’s best for Fury to wait until AJ has regained his winning streak and fighting him on the up rather than the down as you guys see it. If that was Aj you guys would accuse him of cherry picking.

Of course I will. If 60/40 is on the table and aj is happy, he only has himself to blame for getting into bed with hearn.

Don't get me wrong I've been the biggest advocate of aj but massively went down in my estimations after his pathetic outburst last outing

AJ its 32 years old (not many years left in hevyweights) Tyson Fury its 34 years old do you want them to wait 3 years till AJ got his winning streak back and see another figth of the century with grandpas.

How is Hearn any different to Warren or Arum? They do the same job which is to get what’s best for their fighters.

So he has handled himself immaculately throughout his whole career and now because he had an emotional outburst which wasn’t really that bad you no longer like him .

What a silly statement, fury wants usyk in dec but usyk doesnt want to fight until next year so fury is giving the public what they want

And now you try and spin it sayinghes only offered it because aj is on a losing streak

Stop sucking up to aj

I’m not saying anything you guys are. He’s always in a lose, lose situation as far as his critics are concerned. You’re saying on one hand it’s not the right fight for him coming off the back of back to back loses, you’re saying if he loses, which he is expected to, he’s rubbish and should retire, if he does what is technically the best thing for his career he ducking, if he fights it’s his own fault and should retire.

This is why i said he should ignore Fury. Forget about him and do what’s right for you. If fury wants the fight when it suits you then great, if not then so be it.

I’m not saying it persay I’m making the point if the shoe was on the other foot you would.

I’m happy for them to fight I have no stake in the outcome and it’s not sucking up it’s putting things into perspective. You will give Aj none of the credit and all of the criticism. I’ve seen it with you and others repeatedly.

To be fair, it does look that way. When he got offered AJ after 2 comeback fights, he declined. When he got offered, and accepted, the undisputed fight shenanigans went on and the fight got cancelled at the 11th hour.
It's the same as when Fury was originally supposed to fight Whyte before Whyte got obliterated by Povetkin. He made demands to the WBC for the diamond belt to be on the line. Whyte agreed, the WBC agreed and then it was radio silence from Fury.

Regardless of all that. I hope AJ does accept the fight. May be the wrong choice for his career, or the right one if he wins, it's not impossible he does as it's heavyweight boxing. Though all roads would end up leading back to Usyk and he just has Joshua's number. But as a fan of boxing, I'd love to see him take the fight. It's more winable than getting in the ring with Ustk again. This is his best chance to reclaim a belt quickly.

We all have to give credit to AJ and Fury what they done for British boxing but this is the time for AJ to get a grip and go for Fury and if he wins take on Usyk. I know its hard after loses but great champions in boxing always comming back. Lets see what is going to happened but this fight should beed sooner than latter.

All promoters are the same, the equivalent to agents in football. Leeches the lot of them.

And yes it was more than an emotional outburst, it was embarrassing and how you can say it wasn't that bad is baffling. It just showed how deluded and out of touch with reality he really is.

He just lost a high stakes fight and had an emotional outburst. Really not that big of a deal. He has even after defeats taking them like a man and never offered even the slightest excuse. If only others followed in his footsteps. Did you not see Wilder after the second Fury defeat? Now that was embarrassing and he showed just how deluded and out of touch a person could be. Not even in the same league.

Wilder never generated big money, Usyk won’t generate big money as the top fighter in the division. Brands generate money and AJ is a brand.
I agree but his brand has been damaged and to lose a 3rd fight on the bounce, would result in even further damage and further dent his earning potential. Joshua's used to earning mega millions per fight and if and when he loses to Fury, while he'll still earn a lot, it won't be anything like what he earns now.

It’ll have some effect for sure but he’ll still be one of the top earners. Look at Chisora, never had a belt, doesn’t even try to fight for belts, has lost multiple times yet is still in demand and loved by the public.

Whyte will fight him, Ruiz Jr will fight him, who knows with Wilder, Dubois fight is there, Joyce. Trust me people will still be lining up to fight Joshua. Usyk will possibly retire after the Fury fight, who knows what will happen with Fury but I can’t see either fighter fighting their mandatories. My guess is the belts will be up for grabs by next year or the one after.

You can't compare him with Chisora or 99% of fighters. They've never earned 10s of millions per fight, leaving them in a position where they can retire and never have to worry about money themselves or their future generations. Joshua's in that position and the drop off from what he's currently earning to what he will earn will be significantly different.

Joshua vs Dubois or Joyce might be a fight that boxing fans want to see but it's not a fight that's catching the imagination of the wider public. It's not selling 90k tickets at Wembley at premium prices, there's won't be endless City bankers lining up to pay thousands for ringside seats and even if it can do the 1m(ish) PPV buys that he's used to doing, it's will be at £20 rather than the £25-30 they're trying to squeeze out of us now. And even if they could sell out Wembley at top prices and get 1m PPV buys at £25+, it would still be nothing compared to what he's earned fighting in Saudi.

I hope I'm wrong but I don't see what motivates Joshua post Fury. When you've got £100m+ sat in the bank, do you want to put the hard yards in to fight Dubois for £5-10m?

Only so many fights can sell 90k at Wembley anyway.

You have to assume Joshua loves to fight. He’s been a wealthy man for a long time the only thing that was left was the undisputed but that looks unlikely now. Who knows I don’t see what it matters tbh, he hasn’t retired and he’s going straight back in with Fury and he’ll get well paid for that too.
