Would mobilisation even help - they can't logistically support the soldiers thay already have, adding to the numbers just makes the problem worse. Could they arm and equip whoever they call up, scraping the barrel now.

It would be a bloody mess. Looks like the GRU may openly resist it anyway.

Not sure a military coup would work in Russia, firstly Putin has a large private security force that's loyal to him only and secondly your relying on Russia's incompetent generals to organise such an event. Best bet would be for him to step down under the pretext of ill health and gamble someone with half a brain takes over.

Well according to Tucker and his guest Ukraine is getting its arse kicked and the war will be over soon

...
My God... I just can't quite believe that channels like Fox news actually spout this excrement. Make even our disinformation sources like the Daily Mail look like bastions of truth and integrity. Such a huge example of a failure in US political life that this is a mainstream channel.

Russians reportedly abandoning Donetsk too?

Watching some of the videos the Ukrainians look like a completely different fighting force, they’re so well equipped. There’s clearly been a lot more arming than has been let on since the start of the war.

Now is the time to give Ukraine whatever else they need to finish this. While they have the momentum. Once the Russians are out we need to send in everything we can to help with aid and to rebuild.

Might not be his choice. What do you mean by "go all in" in this context? Like mobilisation? That's going to take some time and they're already not sending new units apparently + as per the previous post they've seemingly have had a bit of a farce/mass surrender in the south today - I'm sure details are to follow on that.
Mobilisation would be the sensible option, nukes would be the desperate "i'm finished so yolo" option

Just because they've suspended sending reinforcements it could mean many things, they could be discussing options on how to fix the mess they've got themselves into and whether mobilisation is even an option, a lot of rumours going around at the moment, a lot of it is probably propaganda for the Russians to fall for as rumours spread easily, war is far from over yet, just like it wasn't over when Russia decided to give up on Kyiv & Kharkiv cities

I can't see Putin stopping the war because that would mean giving up Luhansk, Donetsk and Crimea as Ukraine won't stop until they are retaken so there won't be negotiation either, there's little choice but to continue the war, it's whether the people and generals see it that way or want to take the L and remove Putin, logic would be taking the L but our logic is not equal to Russian logic

We may see the false flags to bring the population on board that were supposed to happen at the start of the war though first

Douglas MacGregor is doing a better job then the Russian properganda mouth pieces. I know American news network don't mind letting some of lonies loose on their networks from time to time but Fox really dropped the ball on this one.

Ukraine and Russia

2014 Russian annexation of Crimea

In 2014, after Russia annexed Crimea and was engaged in a conflict with Ukraine over its eastern parts, Macgregor appeared on Russian state-owned network RT where he called for the annexation of the Donbas and said residents of the region "are in fact Russians, not Ukrainians, and at the same time, you have Ukrainians in the west and in the north, who are not Russians."[19][34]

2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine

After Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Macgregor appeared on three Fox News programs to speak in support of Russia's actions. Russian state television broadcast excerpts of Macgregor's appearances, which included a characterization of Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy as a "puppet," that Russian forces had been "too gentle" in the early days of the invasion and that Russian president Vladimir Putin was being "demonized" by the United States and NATO. Macgregor said he believed Russia should be allowed to seize whatever parts of Ukraine it wanted. After one of his appearances, Macgregor's comments were characterized by veteran Fox News Pentagon correspondent Jennifer Griffin as "appeasement" and that he was being an "apologist" for Putin. After Griffin's remarks, Tucker Carlson — who hosted Macgregor on two successive nights — remarked, "Unlike many of the so-called reporters you see on television, he is not acting secretly as a flack for Lloyd Austin at the Pentagon. No, Doug Macgregor is an honest man." Trey Gowdy, another Fox News host who interviewed Macgregor, said his viewpoint was "stunning and disappointing."[35][36][37][38] U.S. representative Liz Cheney said of Macgregor "This is the Putin wing of the GOP."[39]
