Just to clarify - a BMP-1 is an IFV or Infantry Fighting Vehicle and not a "Tank" even though it looks broadly similar due to having a small turret. An IFV is usually a troop carrier with thin armour designed to get a small number of troops (5-10) to a target and then support their attack using it's small cannon firing 20-30mm ammunition (occasionally larger).

So to prevent Ukraine becoming more western leading, the decision was to invade it. Which is now making it more Western leaning.

But I also thought it was to demilitarise and denazify the country, something something drug addicts in power in Ukraine etc. I cannot keep the reasons straight in my head.

The mass graves seem to be too good for just some sort of WC. If it were that some unmarked single grave would be used. Here you have individual graves all marked out with a cross and some with writing on the cross other than just a number.

Yeah also crippled Russias economy for decades and drove Finland and Sweden to to join NATO. Tactical masterstroke by Putin there, big brain moves.
