Energy Prices (Strictly NO referrals!)

I think I'm paying 27p on a token meter already.. So I guess it's not too bad.
My gas I pay online monthly after submitting a reading as the estimate is always ludicrous.

With BG... So I dunno if I'll get a voucher for my electric token meter or if they'll just credit my gas account with the monthly top up payments?

If your electricity bills are less than £66/£67 a month, you’ll still get the same amount. You can carry on using the discount to pay for your electricity after March 2023 (until all the £400 is used up).
For Direct Debit customers, we’ll send the discount straight to your bank each month – like a refund – once your Direct Debit has gone through.

For example:
If your Direct Debit is £100 a month, you’d pay that as normal. Then a few days later, £67 will be paid in to your bank account. If your Direct Debit is less than £67 a month, say £50 for example, £50 will be refunded to your bank account and the remaining £17 will be applied as credit to your energy account.

An excellent way to make something so simple confusing.

who electricity bill is only £66 pm

Mine £200 :(

My electric bill is currently about £48 per month on a token meter.. Single person in a 2 bed terrace.

I'm very power efficient also to be fair.
The only things that have constant power are the fridge freezer and the Internet router.

My 4-bed with 2 adults, 2 kids is £66pm and we both WFH too. Assuming you have electric heating, elec showers or an EV or something?
Some people are just VERY wasteful and have no idea how much electric things use.
My PC uses around £1 for being on 12 hours per day (not gaming just on and doing stuff) which is the majoirty of my electric usage. I probably use £1.50 per day once I factor in cooking, and that's only when I'm not at work.

That’s pretty impressive, my sister is pretty much the same setup but theirs is £200pm. It’s was £300+ before they started to be more energy efficient.
