Upgrade from RTX 3090 to RTX 4090??

MSI x570 Unify.
AMD 5950x no OC.
MSI Suprim X RTX 3090.
2x16gb Corsair 3200mhz.
1200watts Corsair PSU.
LG C8 55inch @4k 60hz.

I play games on a 55inch Oled TV 60fps/hz @4k, should i upgrade to a 4090? I'm not interested playing on a monitor 144hz @4k.

Who Knows. Do you have a couple of grand laying around you want to buy some shiny new silicon with? If so, sure crack on. It will perform better than a 3090 especially with RT.

Though I can’t imagine playing games on a 3090 is a poor experience…

Only if you're dropping below 60Hz frequently when playing games at settings you're happy with and have money burning a hole in your pocket.

As long as you are limited to 60fps then there is not much point and I would say keep the 3090 and do not give Nv more of your hard earned cash.

Spend the money on 55inch c2 gsync alone from ya 3090 will look loads better trust me I've owned many oleds and every top end card from the nvida 6800 ultra

So your 3090 handles 60fps absolutely fine @ 4k but you want to spend £1600+ to play at the exact same frame rates?

No wonder nVidia are milking everyone with their prices.
