I've been very critical of Hearn/Dazn ripping fans off but when you see Joyce vs Parker on ppv, DAZN suddenly doesn't seem so much of a rip off.

If this is the way things are going then I can see UK boxing going back to how it was in the early 2000s with very little interest in it.

Yeah this fight really shouldn't be PPV. I certainly wont be buying but I will be watching.

UK Boxing needs a new 'guy'. I know Eddie is trying to make Connor be that guy but I don't have my faith in him just yet. I don't know who it would be though to be the new face of the next generation. We have a stacked light heavyweight division (Yarde, Buatsi, Richards, Smith, Johnson and I have a keen eye on Whittaker) but I don't think any of them, bar maybe Yarde and Ben Whittaker, has that mainstream appeal.

how will you be able to watch the fight mate if you are not buying it then? pub? friends house?
 
Joyce vs Parker ppv - do me a favour. I'd quite like to watch it but I'll be damned if I put money in Frank Warren's pocket for this. Same for Eubank / Benn. When their old men go tit on it was FTA on ITV!

If BT wanted to try build some sort of following for Joyce they should have stuck tonights on BT Sport, being a PPV is a joke.

Hardly like it's likely to be a barn burner, Joyce is very durable but a plodder and about 90% of Parkers fights I've seen would be a prescribed as a cure for insomnia! Joyce on points would be the obvious looking result.
