What if a small nuke falls on Chernobyl or Zhaporizhia, on a day when eastern winds blow, oops it was an accident. Here's 100 Roentgen all over the continent in exchange for being nice with us. Think about it.

I might be wrong but I don't think the villa/lodge he is rumoured to be at has a proper bunker and is a long way from his known doomsday bunkers (other than the Moscow stuff).

It's meant to be his secret palace yet everybody knows about it :cry:

We've at least got until the end of September before nukes get used when the referendums are finished and in Putin's mind the territory of Ukraine that is occupied becomes Russia proper, then, who the **** knows what's going to happen, I think we're now at a point where we're closer to nuclear war than even the Cuban missile crisis, just have to hope the US has offered enough encouragement to Putin to not be willing to risk using them, otherwise we're ******
 
Putin mighta went to his resort to avoid the political fallout of closing his borders to men leaving. There will likely be a lot of ppl unhappy about that domestically. How long before we hear a story 'border guard defected'.

I'd love to see Ukraine bag Russia's strategic bombers if that is indeed the 'plan'. I'd also like to see NATO troops in the center of Ukraine's major cities as a means to call the Kremlin's bluff about nuclear weapons and to give Beijing a collective heart attack.

One thing that may comr out of this is that russia’s metality that force rather than negotiation/compromise doesn't work. A message that may cause the political parties to change their approaches given the russian psyche sould be broken.
Mobilising against ukraine is war. Russia will have an uprising if they lose the war fighting a small bordering country.
