"Acts of aggression against Russia"

Funny, I wonder what all the piles of dead Russian soldiers are about?

How much damage is this gas doing to the evironment? Just need to work out if me buying 10p plastic bags and recycling my cornflakes boxes is still having a positive impact. I mean, we are heading in the right direction aren't we? Climate change is better today than it was 10 years ago?

Brutal. BlueSauron has a video up of a Russian tank being hit twice, a blurry figure tries to escape via the top hatch as the final round comes in and sets the hole thing alight. Quite literally toasted.

Also reading as mentioned by @Nate75 that Lyman is apparently surrounded. Guess we'll see if true tomorrow and what happens. Hopefully mass surrender.

The T-72, T-80 and T-90 variants fielded by the Russians don’t appear to have good protection for their their main gun ammunition storage as there are countless photos and videos of them doing a good Roman candle impression and their turrets ending up some metres away from their hulls.

I suspect they were designed with the idea that having their magazines down in the hull would protect them from direct fire from other tanks. Javelin, NLAW and 60mm mortar shells dropped down an open hatch via a drone bypass all this protection with disastrous results for Russian tank crews.

Apparently the flawed design of the russian tanks was mainly about reducing the size

Yeah the Russian tank design has used an auto loading mechanism that stores ammunition in a carousel in the main compartment below where the comd/gunner sit. Therefore any detonation within the main compartment is liable to detonate the charges and subsequently any HE/HEAT rounds carried.
Its a well known drawback of Russian designed armour.
Its why NATO countries favor carrying ammunition in sealable compartments with blowout panels to improve survivability of the crew.

Must be some absolutely brutal fighting going on, with horrendous losses on both sides.

Russian losses are rising as of September 30th.

Maybe, but it's very one sided, the Ukranians will be getting hammered too unfortunately, but the perception is it's just the bad guys getting a kicking.

Yep agreed, Ukraine will be taking heavy losses as well, but I have a suspicion it's less than 1:1 with Russia, given the relative quality of leadership, equipment state, and the fact most of the fighting has been defense focused.

The video of the T80 punching through the T64 at point blank range (through ERA) shows the directness of this war, and the weakness of older vehicles.
