WHAT NVIDIA RTX 4000 SERIES CARD YOU GETTING ?

Was going to be a Strix but it's looking as though the ASUS tax is through the roof. The Suprim X was a nice performing card for the 3090 so may look at that. It's the flagship for MSI I think but it may be less than a Strix. FE maybe but I feel many will be trying for one of those.

FE
Than either zorac extreme or the Strix. Need to have a backup in case they sell out but not sure yet. Also, it’s going to depend on how bendy the Corsair cable is that turns up today.
 
I'll probably aim for the FE as EKWB have already got the water block, but it depends on how quickly any other blocks appear for the other cards. When the 3080 came out I had a TUF on pre-order here for weeks. Managed to get hold of a water block for that, and then managed to get the FE in one of the release waves. Pre-ordered the water block for the FE so it was literally a race to see which arrived first - the ASUS card or the FE block. ASUS won. Not sure I can justify buying two and having a race at these prices though...

Yes, took a long time for EK to release the 3090 FE blocks. I was lucky enough to score a 3090 fe on release, then had to wait until the Jan for the EK block. Will be looking to go the same route this time. Presuming i can get a Founders Edition, EK currently saying 16/11 release for the block, fingers crossed i'm not waiting until Jan again :D
 
Happy to skip this gen and get the next one.................. 2 bits of small print....... i may pick one up at end of life if they are reduced..... or you never know, if my 3090FE packs up in 12 - 15 months time and i have to do a warranty claim, i would accept a 16gb 4080FE as a replacement if they had no 3090 stock. ;)

So what I'm hearing is you don't want to work as an Uber driver as a second job to pay for a 4090 and it's electricity bill
