Hi All.

I've been doing some home work and I'm pretty sure ill be okay but would like some re-assurances from the fine folks of OCUK forum

My current PC specs:

AMD Ryzen 9 5900X
RTX 3080
Asus ROG STRIX X570-F GAMING motherboard
32GB ram
Corsair Hydro 100i RGB Platinum SE closed loop cooler
Corsair RM850x PSU

I have a MSI GeForce RTX 4090 Suprim X on the way to me to replace the 3080 but my worry/concern is the power supply, will it be okay?

I don't do any overclocking so nothing to worry about there

should be fine as long as you have at least 3x PCIE cables, without daisy chaining.

people overestimate the watts they draw massively

The card can take 4x PCIE cables btw, but works fine with only 3 cables

Well according to my thor psu I am running at 545w that's a suprimx aoi with a 12900k ocd to 5.3 on 4 cores 5.1 on the other 4. My god the heat of the aoi rad is somethjng to behold! Power wise at gpu 100% usage at stocks I am about 100watts more then my old 3080 zotac trinity but fps is an extra 70% at 4k in warhammer 3
